WordPress Rescue & Modernization

Your business has outgrown its WordPress site.

Keep business moving while we build what comes next.

Your website still works, but keeping it working has become a project of its own. Plugins conflict. Updates feel risky. Small changes take too much effort. And a full replacement sounds disruptive.

NTx Ventures takes responsibility for the existing site first. Then we document what your business needs, design and build its replacement, and manage the move to new hosting with testing and a rollback plan.

Start with your current site, your concerns, and what your business needs it to do.

Does this sound like your website?

  • You hesitate to update WordPress because something might break.
  • Years of plugins have accumulated, and nobody knows which ones are essential.
  • Forms, pages, or integrations stop working after changes.
  • The original developer is gone or difficult to reach.
  • You are unsure whether backups can actually restore the site.
  • Adding a new service, workflow, or integration takes more effort than it should.

You do not need a rushed rebuild. You need someone to understand the dependencies, look after the current site, and create a practical path forward.

First, look after the site you have.

Before we start replacing your website, we agree on a stabilization and care plan for the existing one.

We review the hosting, WordPress installation, themes, plugins, access, backups, and the functions your business relies on. Then we prioritize the work needed to improve reliability and reduce avoidable security exposure.

Depending on the site's condition and the agreed scope, that can include:

  • Verifying backups and testing the recovery process.
  • Setting up a separate environment to test changes.
  • Reviewing administrative access and outdated components.
  • Testing and applying appropriate updates.
  • Troubleshooting plugin conflicts and broken functions.
  • Monitoring availability and maintaining the current site during the rebuild.

You get a clear picture of what needs attention now, what can wait, and who owns the work.

A replacement built around your business

1. Stabilize

We establish a baseline, identify immediate problems, and put an agreed care plan in place. Your current website remains the working site while the replacement takes shape.

2. Scope

We produce a written scope document before development begins. Together, we identify the pages, content, forms, integrations, editing needs, and workflows the new platform must support.

You review the proposed solution, responsibilities, costs, and acceptance criteria before approving the build.

3. Build

We design and develop the new site in a separate environment. The platform is chosen around your actual requirements, with deliberate dependencies, appropriate security controls, and a clear maintenance approach.

You review progress and test the functions that matter to your business before launch.

4. Migrate

We prepare the new hosting environment, move the required content and data, test the site, and agree on the cutover window.

The launch plan covers redirects, forms, analytics, integrations, backups, and rollback. We switch traffic to the new site, verify it in production, and retire the old environment when the agreed checks are complete.

5. Maintain & Grow

We agree on ongoing care for the new platform, including updates, monitoring, backups, and support. Future improvements build on a documented foundation.

Start with your current site, your concerns, and what your business needs it to do.

Request a WordPress Site Assessment

Know what you are approving before we build.

The scope document gives you a shared definition of the project:

  • Business goals and the problems the replacement must solve.
  • Required pages, features, and customer journeys.
  • Content and data to keep, revise, or retire.
  • Forms, third-party services, and integrations.
  • How your team will edit and manage content.
  • Hosting, access, security, and maintenance requirements.
  • Migration, redirects, testing, and launch responsibilities.
  • Milestones, acceptance criteria, pricing, and change handling.

It becomes the reference point for decisions throughout the project.

Easier to operate. Easier to improve.

The goal is a website your business can depend on and your team can understand.

We work toward simpler day-to-day management, fewer unnecessary dependencies, clearer ownership, and a platform that can support new services and integrations as your needs change.

Work with NTx Ventures

NTx Ventures is a New Hampshire software engineering firm working with small businesses. We bring software development and business-process experience to website modernization.

We look at how your website fits into your operations: how inquiries reach your team, which systems depend on it, what staff need to manage, and what has to keep working during the transition.

Our approach starts with understanding the business and produces a documented path from the current site to its replacement.

Questions business owners ask

Do I have to approve a full rebuild to get help?

The assessment is the starting point. We can discuss stabilization and ongoing care separately from the replacement project, with the scope and pricing agreed before work begins.

Will my existing site stay online while you build?

The new site is built separately while we care for the existing site under the agreed plan. We schedule and test the final transition to reduce disruption. Any expected interruption is discussed in the launch plan.

Is WordPress always the problem?

WordPress can be maintained successfully. We assess your particular installation, dependencies, and business requirements to determine whether repair, continued maintenance, or replacement makes sense.

What will you replace it with?

The scope process determines the platform. We consider content editing, integrations, custom functions, hosting, security, and ongoing support before recommending the architecture.

Can my team still edit the website?

We document what your team needs to edit and include the appropriate content-management tools in the proposed solution.

Will we lose our content, search visibility, or integrations?

We identify what must carry over and include content migration, URL mapping, redirects, and integration testing in the plan. Search rankings cannot be guaranteed, but the migration should account for your existing search presence.

Is a modern platform maintenance-free?

Every platform needs care. We design for manageable dependencies and establish who handles updates, monitoring, backups, and support after launch.

How much will it cost, and how long will it take?

That depends on the current site, its dependencies, and the replacement scope. We agree on assessment and stabilization costs first, then define the rebuild budget and schedule through the scope process.
